Beef Loaf

Beef Loaf

Serve this classic American dish with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or your favorite side salad.

Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours

Ingredients

  • 1½lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Cup Cornbread Stuffing
  • 1¼ Cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ Onion Minced
  • 1½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 8oz Swiss Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350˚.
  2. Combine the milk and stuffing in a measuring cup and allow the stuffing to hydrate.
  3. Start mixing all the other ingredients (except cheese) in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Knead the mixture until it all starts to become a cohesive mix.
  5. Add in the stuffing & milk mixture and knead until thoroughly mixed.
  6. Pour into a loaf pan and level out.
  7. Bake for 75 minutes, and then add the cheese to the top.
  8. Return to oven and bake for 15 minutes more, or until internal temperature is 165˚.
